When I think of a laidback, traditional, spring wedding, Meredith + Andrew's Runnymede wedding always comes to mind. These high school sweethearts wanted their day to be fun, relaxed, and after 12 years of dating, they were simply, "just SO excited to finally get married."
Meredith + Andrew's wedding day started with the ladies calmly taking turns getting their hair and makeup done at the couple's family home. Once Meredith was finished, we packed the car, wedding dress in hand, and headed toward their wedding venue, Runnymede, for the finishing touches. Next, we found a beautiful shady spot underneath one of the property's historic oak trees and the bride + groom shared their first look surrounded by a canopy of Spanish Moss. We then explored the rest of the property, dancing under ever epic tree we could find, and met up with their bridal party for more celebrating and photos. One of my favorite details of the day was Meredith's wedding bouquet. Her father had passed away earlier that year and to honor him, she carried his cufflinks tied to her bouquet, so that he could be with her every step of their joyous day.
For such a hot afternoon, Meredith, Andrew, their family, + friends never complained and were blissfully happy from start to finish. Thanks to the organization of the ladies of Peper Events, their wedding went off without a hitch and I could not be more excited to finally share it with the world!
