Kenzie + Brent are the type of people who you meet and instantly feel like old friends. Their easy going, fun, and warm nature carried through their entire wedding day, making it one of my favorite weddings I've ever been a part of.
The day began in a typical wedding day fashion, with Kenzie + her bridesmaids getting their hair + make-up done in a cute Airbnb downtown as I styled the bridal details + invitation suite. Kenzie + Brent were so thoughtful with their details, even including gold bug earrings + cufflinks to match their wedding venue on Gold Bug Island. Once Kenzie slipped into her gorgeous Justin Alexandre dress, we met Brent for their first look on a charming street in downtown Charleston. After some exploring with the bride + groom for portraits, we were joined by their bridal party, and then made our way toward Gold Bug for their ceremony.
Kenzie + Brent tied the knot during an intimate ceremony, led by the groom's father, on the banks of the Intracoastal Waterway in front of their closest friends + families. As the sun setting, the evening was left to dancing and an outpouring show of love for the newly married couple, who departed as the Lewis' through a glow stick exit!
From their engagement session to their wedding day, I have cherished every moment spent with these two, clients turned friends. Scroll below to enjoy Kenzie + Brent's classic, southern, navy blue + blush Gold Bug Island wedding...
