Magnolia Plantation in March is what every bride dreams of on their wedding day. Azaleas are in full bloom and the temperature is set comfortably in the 70's. I couldn't imagine a sweeter couple to be blessed with such a spectacular day and I myself had to pinch myself to make sure it wasn't a dream.
The day began with Rebecca + her bridesmaids getting ready at the church that she grew up going to with her family. In the meantime, Carter and his groomsmen made their way to the cobblestone streets of Chalmers and Queen for portraits. Once the guys were finished up and out of sight, Rebecca + her beautiful bridesmaids posed in the same location for their portraits.
Rebecca + Carter tied the knot at a historic church in Downtown Charleston and shared their first look of the day as Rebecca was escorted down the aisle by her father. First Baptist was the perfect church for this southern couple to say their I Do's and make their relationship official!
After their ceremony, we made our way to Magnolia Plantation and caught the prettiest golden light for bride + groom portraits by the Ashley River. The remainder of the evening was spent dancing and celebrating until Rebecca + Carter exited through a tunnel of sparklers held by their closest friends and family!
In Rebecca's words, "we had someone looking down on us today", and she couldn't have been more right. It was an incredibly special day to be a part of and I can't wait to finally share their photos with the world.
